Took ½ pl[ate] photo of the daisy tree in full flower in front of house. Drove down to Levin sale taking a daisy-tree to Mr Lancaster. Called on Mr C Blinkhorn, barrister + solicitor, + informed him I was called up in the 10th Ballot + intended to appeal + asked if he would take my case. I mentioned that I might not pass the medical list. At the stock sale a large amount of the stock was passed in.
