Father went to W gton [Wellington] to see Mother. George + I drove some of Father s calves down to sale yards to pick up the rather wild ones he purchased yesterday. Also delivered 3 fat cows (price £14) to Bulliman s slaughter-yards. Hayfed lambs, cows + steers. Carrier arrived with Ephos basic phosphate for topdressing + lifted 3 bales crutchings wool :- 2 of Father s + one of mine. Dug tree holes for Lawsoniana hedge at Woodside .
