Mrs. Herd returned to Hastings. Worked at Cheslyn Rise, erecting netting in 10 1/2 ac[re] turnip p[addock] + repairing fences. Carted over to Woodside a load of 70 tile pipes purchased from Father to drain head of swamp hollow. Wet night.
