George + I rode around all morning looking for the missing steer, going as far as Kimberley Road + Koputaroa + finally found it was in Horribin's paddock next to Levin Butter Factory. Drove down to Levin sale + at 3 pm met Napier Mail train + Mrs. Herd who has come to stay with us over the event.
