Beautiful fine day. Maud + I drove up the river to pipe-bridge + then walked to South Block via Kay's. Took a photo 1/4 pl[ate] (1) of a rimu; 1/2 pl[ate] (2) of a cut-off spur on the Makeretu River; 1/4 pl[ate] (3) moonlight effect on Makeretu River; 1/4 pl[ate] (4) of Maud on river bed in Makeretu Gorge; 1/2 pl[ate] (5) South end of Sonoma from whare on South Block, to show improvements; 1/2 pl[ate] (6) Ohau River + truncated spurs from settling tanks; 1/4 pl[ate] (7) Maud on pipe-bridge. Home to dinner over
