More rain till breakfast. Mustered to 50 store ewes in far 42 + took them to Cheslyn Rise yds. to doctor lame ones. Worked over there in afternoon. Mr. + Mrs. Herd came up from Wgtn [Wellington] by last train to stay overnight with us - they had been seeing Will off with the 14th Reinforcements.
