Wed. June. 21.
Showery day. Rode up to Sonoma. Worked at 100 ac[re] p[addock] north fence line - cleared away fern + rushes + did some benching. Unable to find a strainer + two corner posts for fence near the foot of Main Wedge Spur, nearer than the crest of Crescent Spur + had a tremendous job getting them down to position. Home very tired + damp, but Darling had a fine hot dinner for me. Heavy rain during evening.
