Rode up to Sonoma via Ohau Gate. Mustered 29 of the 36 steers in Top p[addock] + put them in Mill p. Got in the rams + doctored lame ones - found them worse than I expected. After dinner commenced sowing seed, doing some of the patches in Mill p. + major part of terrace of Mill Swamp. At 5 pm walked up to hilltop to inspect east b[oun]d[ar]y fence + found the other 7 steers on "1st burn" - drove them down hill. Home late.
