At 8 am rode up to North Block via Ohau gate + cut the heavy scrub at foot of Nemo Spur. Grange has finished cutting scrub in Combine Spur + today started on Nemo Spur. Got thro' my piece after a very heavy days work + rode over to Mill p[addock] - counted the 36 steers - all are looking extremely well. On return home found Proctor had finished the floor staining, so we can get our furniture + pretties arranged now.
