Overview
Wed. Feb. 9.
Maud + I drove down intending to go to the sale but Father decided to go burning fern on South Block. We visited house + had a good deal of trouble with the painter over inside decoration, papering etc. I returned to North Block on Fanny to change + then joined others on S. Block. We fired the SE corner + upper part of East Creek Valley - two spurs burned clean but rest rather patchy. Returned to Cheslyn Rise + drove Maud up to whare in evening.
