Drove down to Cheslyn Rise + on to sale. Dinner at the Taieri. Maud spent pm at Lancaster's. Father bought to lines of steers - 30 18 months @ £1.1.0 + 20 2 yr well-bred at £6.2.0. Paid Mr. Whitaker £150 on account of house. Father went to Wgtn [Wellington] to be with Mother during her operation.
