Tues. Feb. 1.
Finished cutting the belt of scrub up Combine Spur to mark eastern limit for A. Grange to scrub to. This line runs up to "father's lookout" near top of Skyline Spur. Very hot day. At 3pm went on cutting sown fern etc. on Ohau Fleat near dangerous cliff at waterfall. Maud came over to meet me at 5 + walked back to whare.
