The carrier lifted Father's 21 bales of wool - ewes wool + pieces. Mr. Kingdon called + in course of conversation mentioned a line of steers he had for sale. I wished to see them so Father + I motored down to see them + I purchased 24 at £5.10.0. At 11 Andy + I rode up to North Block + mustered ewes + lambs on "1st + 2nd burns" + Leighton p[addock] into Mill p[addock]. On way home met Maud, Clif + Viv out riding. Clif + I went forward + on to Levin + drove home the 24 steers - branded same in evening.
