Left Hastings by Mail train + reached Levin at 3 [pm]. Mother + Viv met us with trap. Found gig had arrived so towed it home. After tea visited "stream garden' + our house. Maud got on splendidly with family + they were very nice to her. She + I slept in spare bedroom.
