Caught the Napier Mail train at 9.10 am for return home. Maud + I got a good seat together this time + had a long talk. We decided to return from Hastings together after Xmas + live in my whare on the North Block till the house is finished, as in building it has been delayed by bad weather, etc. At Levin we parted. No one to meet me, but the Lancasters, who came to station to see Maud, drove me into town. Rode home on Father's pony to get trap + picked up my luggage later. Attended Levin sale.
