Tues. Nov. 16.
At 7.15 put up netting + drove ewes + lambs in Mill p[addock] into sheep-yards for 2nd docking. Pulled foxgloves in Ram p. (1/2 hour). At 9.45 Andy arrived + we docked 25 lambs - total docked to date, 327. Then we spent 3 hours pulling the huge dense patch of foxgloves on lower Foxtail Spur - heavy rainstorm came up just before we finished + I was drenched. Changed at whare, home for the night. Father, Mother + Clare went to Wellington today. Wet night. Today I finished the foxgloves - total time (for 1 person) 67 1/2 hours or 8 1/2days
