Thurs. Oct. 28.
A lovely clear hot day. Rode up to North Block. Finished battening 100 acre p[addock] east fence + sowed grass seed on fenceline + on burn at north end of same. At 11.am pulled foxgloves on (1 hr. for dinner) Connecting Camp, Boulder + the other spurs between Punga Spur + Little Ravine stopping work at 6.30 - very tired. Found another missing steer, dead on summit of Connecting Spur - no apparent cause of death. A windy evening so fired the sawdust.
