Rode up to North Block to camp. Started pulling foxgloves at 10 am + got over northern half of Leighton Spur. Corner + adjacent spurs + "1st burn". Showery day + got wet through twice. Half hour for dinner. Stopped work at 6.15. There is now a huge patch of foxgloves on spur at north end of "1st burn" + a good many scattered ones. Found one of the missing steers, dead in a deep pit-like hole at head of gully in "1st burn".
