Thurs. Sept. 16.
Fog + rain. Rode up to North Block. Made Main Spur gate for 100 ac[re] p[addock] east fence in stable. Repaired chimney of 2nd whare - framework was in a very rotten state + on point of collapsing. Improved crossing over Deep Creek (in Leighton p. just above sawdust) - making a good bridge with iron rail sleepers + good slabs of timber, also benched track up bank + cleared away logs etc. Saved a couple of ewes - one cast, the other in trouble lambing.
