Len + I rode up to North Block to camp. Worked at east bdy [boundary] fence - carried out rest of split battens + put them on, getting to within a couple chains of north side of big rimu on line. Cut two lengths for battens of a big rimu at top of Trunk Spur - the second cut took us 1 hour 40 mins though saw in good order. In evening read "Vice Versa" by Anstey.
