My 27th [birthday]. Len + I rode up to North Block to cut hinau posts for east bdy [boundary] fence on SE side of "first burn" from the big hinau log on main track through same. A splendid splitter cutting 12 + 13 posts per length. We split + trimmed 25, carried some out + put them in the missed places in fence. Then went on clearing the bad bit of line from leaning rata in "16 chain hollow" working south. A most successful day - weather glorious.
