Tues. June. 29.
Len Yule (who was to work with us last August, who went to Egypt with the expeditionary force + who has come back to us again) + I rode up to North Block to camp. Rode up Ravine Spur to hilltop + ran out + strained up wires for about 3 chains in east bdy [boundary] fence. Also cleared logs off line + cut, split, + trimmed 7 posts. In evening read "Kenilworth" by Sir W. Scott.
