Tues. June.15.
Rode up to hilltop with another coil of barb wire + went on splitting posts for east bdy [boundary] fence alongside south end "2nd burn". Split + trimmed 26 + carried most out along line. Home for the night. Read "Scarlet Runner" by AN + C.M. Williamson. A horrible day on the hilltop UR - a gale of cold wind from the west fairly wore me out.
