Mon. June 7.
Good-bye to the family + Maud + Gertie drove me down to the 9.20 am train - in our rush to the station we forgot to say Farewell in private so had to kiss her on the rly [railway]-station just before the train left. She supplied me with a dainty little lunch as usual. Mother met me with trap. Milked the three cows as Andy is away for day. Rode down to concert in Century Hall given by Professor Cardston + his party of pierrots for Miss McKegg's canditature for the "Queen Carnival" in aid of wounded soldiers fund.
