Father, Andy + I rode up to the North Block + sowed burned patches on Stuckey's Side of Mill p[addock] + also the scrub "burn" on south west slope of East Low Hill + on Lower Foxtail Spur. Many rata logs + stumps are still burning. When father + Andy left

I went up on to Rocky-toe Spur and sowed the patches fired a long time back. This spur is now very clean except for a couple [sic] small patches of green scrub. Slept at whare.
