Drizzly rain so the gang did not go up to North Block to sow "burn" as arranged. I went up along + sowed tracks on side spurs of Leighton's Spur + the Leading Wedge Spur + also part of the bush "burn". Cattle on Mill p[addock] doing well - sowed patches on Kopje. In evening read "The Light of Western Stars" by Zane Gray. Received from my sweetheart a box of butterscotch.
