Windy day. Drove Father's cull lambs etc. to Levin sale. They sold as follows:- 42 shorn lambs 5/6; 37 wooly lambs 6/6; 9 cull lambs 4/6; 31 2-tooth Romney ewes passed at 16/-. Prices down a little. Some fine lots of cattle in both yards. Visited Lancasters. In evening read "Desert Gold" by Zane Gray.
