Fine sunny day. Mr Vickers made his first visit to draft fats - picked out 92 lambs instead od 170 as Father expected - he also picked 180 fat wethers, mostly 2-tooths (last winter's hoggarts [sic]) but also a good number of 4-tooths purchased by Father last sale. Prices to be:- Lambs 15/-: wethers 22/6. The three Morgans arrived to shear balance of lambs + did 127 of UR lot. A big rush all day - in evening developed rest of Xmas H[awkes] Bay photos, etc - all good.
