Windy day. Andy, Erny + I rode up to North Block + put all my ewes + lambs back on the hills as I have decided to put off shearing till after Xmas because the weather is so stormy and wintry. For 2 1/2 hours we pulled foxgloves on terrace above Ram p[addock] on Lower Ravine Spur + part of Punga Spur. Home early + drove the 255 fat lambs down to station + trucked them. Four German cruisers shelled Scarborough + West Hartlepool on Yorkshire + Durham coasts + killed many people.
