Fine hot day. Five of us got up to North Block to muster ewes + lambs - first Leighton p[addock] + the hilltop burn (1st) + then the south end. Left sheep on Mill p. for the night. Ernie + I stayed up + made a "lead-

in" to the foot-suspension bridge over Makahika, + cut scrub on "Kopje". Mr. Tress + Godfrey Read dropped in for evening. Threatening sky.
