Ernie and I rode up to the North Block to camp. Carried a cwt [hundredweight] of barb wire on a 4x2 rail up Narby's spur to hilltop - a tough job. Ran out and strained up wires on new section of north bdy [boundary] fence (see Nov 30 + Dec 1). Drizzly rain and thick fog on hilltop so returned to whare early. Cut up a gate for 100 ac[acre] p[addock] east fence in evening.
