Overview
Wed. Decr. 2.
Mustered the "Kelson", "turnip" + "best" hoggarts [sic] (over 800) into yards + drafted out 622 to take up to South Block marking them blue on rump. Father, Gil, Andy, Erny + I drove them up after dinner + left them in sheep-yards while mustering the ewes + lambs off south end in the Terraces p[addock]. Found a patch of foxgloves in flower on ridge overlooking East Creek. Home late + very weary. Read "The Shepherd of the Hills" by Harold B. Wright.
