Dick, Andy, Father's other man, Father + I picked up turfs in Drive p[addock] (piled there by men grading Queen St.) + stacked them in a big heap to rot. Mustered 15 steers from various lots + branded them for taking UR [up river] tomorrow. Clare returned from Wgtn [Wellington].
