Another grand day. After shepherding worked in SE corner of CK p[addock], filling in
[new page]
pipe-drains, getting out roots etc. Last Sat[urday] we got news of the occupation of Brussels by the Germans + to-day of their advance + occupation of Ghent + Ostend.
