Shepherding, drafting out ewes with lambs, etc. In afternoon filled in pipe-drains in CK p[addock]. In evening rode down to dismounted parade + drill of Mtd Nat [Mounted National] Reserve in Drill Shed; Lieut[enant] Denton in charge + Mr Blenkhorn elected Sgnt-Major – we were sworn in – drill with rifles etc.
