Anstice + I went up to North Block – the former in cart with load [of] corrugated iron, wire, etc. Carried the rest of the hinau posts from terrace top to flat at Main Ravine + carted them to the sheep-yards. Also carted a load of timber from Mill p[addock] to stable. Moved rams into Ram p. + mustered 82 ewes off Leighton p. to Mill p. Found one dead, hung up by lawyer which lambing [sic].

Saw also a very poor ewe (the rest looked well) but she may pick up on Stuckey’s side of Mill p. where I put her.
