Wet morning but weather cleared about 8.30 so Anstice + I rode up to North Block to camp. Water lying everwhere + rivers high. Split 180 battens (2 lengths rimu log) on Foxtail Spur for 100 ac[re] p[addock] fence + carried out 157 – fixed stays + ran out one wire. Moved the 55 ewes off Mill p. to south end instead of back to Leighton p. – several new lambs – carried coils of plain + barb wire up to 100 ac p. fence. Moved rams. Ram to Mill p.
