Threatening morning but at 10 am Anstice + I rode up to North Block to camp. Rode

straight up to Ohau Summit via Ohau gate. Sharpened saw + cut off a second length of the big hinau log near the summit rata + split 12 posts out of the 1st length. Drizzly showers all day so we got we through. Spent evening drying clothes + reading in whare.
