Expecting the others to come up to sow "[bwm?]", Anstice + I went on clearing up remains of whares near the "Kopje" till 10 am. Then, as they had not arrived, we cleared line + put up a short length of fence at entrance to the "Main Ravine" to prevent egress of stock from future 100 ac[re] paddock, + also benched out a track down terrace face which will some day be one of the entrances to Leighton p[addock] from Mill p. Stopped work at 3.40pm in order to get home early. Rode to Levin in evening.
