A fine day. After breakfast Anstice + I

rode over to the Ohau R. fence + put on the wires; also put a 4th barb on Andrew's upper fence + put a block of barb wire on farend of same. My cattle cannot now get out on the Ohau side though battens are required for the fence just erected. At 4.30 returned to whare finished cutting fern on site of sheep-yards. Then we started to sort timber etc. the remains of two whares, on the south-east side of the "Kopje". Breezy evening + cloudy.
