Mustered the 412 Elder cull lambs + the 8 'UK' lambs running with them on bullock feed in McDonald p for dipping. At 9.30 Kay came to dip a couple hundred sheep + Anstice + I rode up to the North Block to camp till Thursday. Continued at Kay's + my Makahika fence, runninbg out wire for line + getting in 17 posts. The sinking was for the most part good except for the numerous roots. At 4.30 we picked up the two coils of barb wire left in Gladstone Road + took them over to the Ohau River fence ready for tomorrow. In evening started scrubbing flat alongside old mill + whare ready for sheep-yards. Also added convenienves to whare, benches etc. Threatening windy night.
