Jim, Anstice, Gil + I rode up to North Block + spent day pulling foxgloves. Finished Leighton’s Spur + did small patch on next high- level terrace (The others did the foot of Leighton’s spur last Friday. After work took possession of whare (nearest mill) in Mill p[addock]. + padlocked door. Collected timber for a sledge. Uncle Bert for tea in evening.
