Another dull showery day. Cut slabs for a bridge in this season’s hay paddock – 10 ac[res] in [section] 38. Drafted cattle, putting 14 of the best “UR” in McDonald p[addock], + the rest 44 on sect[ion] 37. In evening Mother, Clare, Dora + I drove down to concert in Century Hall in aid of Beach Road deviation. Good programme met Grandma who is staying with Uncle Bert.
