A lovely day. Up at 6.30 + Anstice + I drove 30 steers to Levin sale before breakfast. Also took down a couple of springing heifers but did not sell either lot. No demand for store cattle. In evening cycled down to see Maud + spent a lovely evening with her – Alice went back to Hawkes Bay with Mrs Herd for a change + holiday.
