Jim + I again rode up to North Block + continued felling end of bush block near Ohau Summit. Slow work – felled several big trees. After Jim left, I improved benched track by cutting away overhanging scrub. Left block at 6 pm. To-day, the Loan + Mercantile Co’s agent brought up Mr Death, of Otaki + Father sold him 24 of the biggest + oldest of the recently bought Palmerston lot of bullocks at £6.18.0; also 8 fat bullocks (cost £6 Mar 14 – 1913) at £8.14.0.
