Rain fell before breakfast so did not go up to river. Ralph, who is having a holiday as Mr Herd has sold the Bruce Road farm, and is getting tired of doing nothing, came up + worked with us all day. Stumping in CK p[addock] + after dinner shepherding. Docked 25
