I rode up to North Block. I sowed patches burned on Track Spur when I was making the track. Spent rest of morning completing the benched track from “Dirty Flat” to “Ohau Summit”. Rode right up to latter on Fanny. After lunch continued cutting east boundary fence-line, working up hill from where we started some weeks ago. Got about level with the big rata on “Ohau Summit” + got back on to real boundary at the head of the gully round which we deviated. Heavy cutting through dense scrub but there are some fine patches of land which I must clean up some day. Started cutting channel for a swampy stream on “Dirty Flat” not far west of Junction Stream – this will do away with a boggy area on track – home at

6 pm + very tired in the evening.
