Cycled to church – down to Bruce Road to dinner – spent afternoon with sweet Maud – took photo of both of us in willow-summer-house. Walked round

farm – Maud with parasol. The last day at Bruce Road as this week they move out and are taking (temporarily) Mr Grieg’s house on Kawiu Road. Stayed to tea + took Maud + Alice to church. She gave me a rose-bud in memory of [the]occasion – I will miss Bruce Road to which I have become quite attached.
