Drizzly morning but fine afternoon.  K. McKenzie dipped 453 sheep.  Father + I drenched with Oate’s drench the 159 2nd grade Waikanae lambs.  Mustered “young” ewes + went on drafting + culling (as on Thurs 6th inst).  Dipped our own 37 Romney lambs, 16 cull wethers + 27 Rams.  Also 145 of “UR” lot.  After work rode over

to Tompsitts’ to cut Californian thistle.  Developed 10 more plates in evening – splendid results.
