Jim + I continued digging drain between Cow + CK p[addocks]. Cycled down to Competitions – last night. Again took Maud. The judges are: – Music – H S Claughton; Elocution – J Culford Bell. Hon. Accompanist – Miss Ina Haswell. The best items this evening were: – Humorous Song won by A C Randerson “The Bassoon”. Two items + two encores by Elocutionary Judge Mr Culford Bell
